Coastal and marine environments are complex systems where pollution, erosion, biodiversity loss and climate pressure interact over time. GaiaNet provides a provisional data workspace to help teams observe these dynamics and organize restoration priorities.

For a pilot project, the platform can combine satellite observations, coastal indicators, field notes and geospatial layers into a single monitoring view. The objective is to make early signals easier to detect and to support clearer decisions before restoration resources are deployed.

This project can be used to map priority coastal zones, compare environmental pressure over time and document progress after cleanup or restoration actions. The current content is placeholder copy and can be replaced with field-specific methodology later.
