Circularity & Waste Signals

Dust, waste residues and degraded soil conditions can reveal where circular economy and land restoration actions are needed. GaiaNet can help structure these observations into a practical decision layer.

The provisional project focuses on mapping pressure points, tracking intervention zones and comparing environmental context before and after recycling or remediation activity. It is designed for teams that need a clear overview rather than scattered spreadsheets.

A pilot could connect field observations, material-flow assumptions and site-level geospatial data. The goal is to clarify which areas should be monitored first and which indicators can show progress over time.

What GaiaNet tracks

The indicators below are provisional examples for the pilot phase. They can be adapted once the final project scope, data sources and field methodology are confirmed.

Key Indicators

  • Dust or residue concentration zones
  • Soil and surface condition notes

Pilot Outputs

  • Site monitoring map
  • Circular opportunity list

Pilot deliverables

A GaiaNet project can start with a focused diagnostic, a simple monitoring dashboard and a practical set of recommendations for the next restoration cycle.

  • Site monitoring map
  • Circular opportunity list
  • Indicator selection draft
  • Operational pilot brief
